Incredible tranquil resort. Grounds are garden-filled and are well beyond meticulously maintained with no details left behind. Camp spots are spacious, immaculate, and placed a nice distance from your neighbors with sweet flowers and tree filled gardens between. Facilities are absolutely spotless and so beautiful!!! These folks designed this place well and it shows. You can definitely tell there was a tremendous amount of thought and effort into their business and park. Employees are plenty and seem to enjoy their work. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but every speck is well worth it. If you are looking for a loud, empty-beer-can scattered place, pickups that can hold watermelons in their tailpipes and ATV’s roaring through your campsite…. this isn’t your spot. Head up the road to Red River, you will find what you are looking for. Here… you can hear a pin drop.
Beautiful, immaculately kept RV Resort. Sites are adequately spaced, level and very well maintained. A short drive from the town of Angel Fire. Staff was very friendly and helpful - waffles delivered by golf cart to your RV on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning were a nice surprise. Were able to see a herd of around 30 elk in nearby area from the park one night. Beautiful landscaping with walking trails around the perimeter of the park. Would love to go back one day.
We had a great stay here. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the sites are concrete, level and nicely spaced from your neighbor. I enjoyed walking the area with my dogs. We enjoyed the waffle breakfast too. Would definitely visit again.
Where to start….one of the best parks we have ever stayed in. Office staff, especially Josh, was helpful, welcoming, accommodating. Wide roads and concrete pads, a real plus for large rigs. Free activities, ice cream sundaes, Pickleball, and evening entertainment, including a large elk herd passing by. Wi-Fi was the best we have found in any park. Waffles are a lovely touch for weekend breakfast. Park may have more amenities and activities than Angel Fire. Enjoyed exploring Red River. We are returning next year.
My most favorite resort in over a year of travels! Beautiful views, wildflowers and hummingbirds everywhere! So peaceful and grounds are immaculate.
The review I didn’t want to write; I wanted to keep this gem of a secret to myself.
We stayed July/23. We’ve been full timing for 9 months and this park is in our top 5. The park is GORGEOUS! There is a walking path that orbits the park and it’s loaded with flowers butterflies and (unfortunately) biting horse flys. The sites are large, well spaced and each one has several Aspen tress and wildflowers. The resort is surrounded by pine tree covered mountains providing a feeling of peace. There is a large well-cared for dog park w/ healthy grass fenced in, large enough to launch balls for our ball obsessed pooch. The office and club house are modern and gorgeous, architecturally fitting the environment. We have washer/dryer so didn’t use/see theirs. We took a day trip to Red River and road a LONG gondola to the top of the mountain (elevation 10,350). The town of Angel Fire is small but they do have a (VERY) busy grocery store. We ate at a couple restaurants; El Jefe (HORRIBLE), Zebs (ok) & twice at Mikuna Grill, a Peruvian restaurant that had the most amazing food! There is a horseback riding stable across the street. VERIZON was strong, so we were able to use our 5G box the entire time. Trash pick up at your site every morning. They had an events calendar that had action every night such as snow comes, horse pulled wagon ride through the resort, s’mores by the fire, live music etc… the exercise room was small and limited, twice we tried to go and it was full. I tried to extend our stay or return in August but they were booked so plan ahead, or don’t so I can come back again on short notice.
100% recommend!
While we have stayed at a few typical RV Parks over the past few years, this is one of the few places we have stayed where it adequately falls into the RV Resort category. We were both impressed with how well thought out AF RV Resort was. …
Level concrete sires, each with a patio. All hook ups located conveniently on the site. Easy to navigate, even for large rigs. Excellent bathhouse and a large clubhouse with games, tables, couches, etc. Dog park was good sized with grass (not a bunch of dirt). We stayed on a weekend, so waffles delivered to pad each morning was an added plus. Staff is awesome in every interaction.
